Great highlights video, love the multi angle slo-mo replays for the goals and the sky sports style' 'swoosh' sound effects on the substitution graphics.
Only criticism I have is that the 'next fixture' graphic maybe shouldn't be shown in the middle of the video as it then looks like the video has finished, maybe better to leave it til after the final score graphic?

I agree great highlights and I agree about the graphic also if people were watching the highlights not wanting to know what happened but just enjoying them and waiting to find out by putting up the next fixture graphic when you do they would already know that the match didn't end in a draw and it may ruin the surprise just a thought

Re: Halesowen v Mickleover (FA CUP) [MEDIA THREAD]
Ahh yes that's a good point with a cup tie, never though of that, however it doesn't apply to a normal league game. The thinking behind it was that if it came before full time people would pay more attention to it, rather than it just being a throw away clip at the end.
I appreciate the feedback from you both. The sound effects were of course inspired by Sky, but we think it adds a bit more professionalism to the video's graphics.

Improvement again chaps, really like the use of the second camera, and Ben captured it brilliantly.
Out of interest, does John Hill get a copy of the whole game for analytical purposes?

He does not, it was mentioned at one point last year, but the sheer scale of the job meant it would be hard to do. However we do have regular contact from the management and they may ask for specific clips, a goal conceded from a set piece for example, and we'll just send them the little bits they want to focus on.

Great to see those goals again, great coverage.
One comment, and this may be a relection on my eyes, or my PC screen, the colour of the Mickleover shirts, seemed to have changed from red black stripes yesterday into orange black stripes today.
Do I need to visit the opticians - polite replies only please !

Ha, not the first time it's been mentioned. Somebody said that Darlington's red looked more like orange. The camera must not pick it up correctly, strange one that is, we'll have a look into the settings!Seamus wrote:Great to see those goals again, great coverage.
