Eldon Maquemba possible return?

Post by crezza94 » 03 Sep 2015, 22:06

Having scanned through Twitter this evening I came across a post by John Hill late last night, "I have been in touch with eldon tonight. ...you never now he may be back at the Grove in the near future. ..". What are people's thoughts? Could this be possible? #bringbackEldon

Personally speaking if a deal could be done I be delighted. During his previous time with the club he seemed to form a real bond with the fans and has kept up-to-date with the club's progress through social media. He seems to have real affection for the club and I've no doubt if he comes he will give his absolute best which is all you can ask for. I do think in all fairness to Eldon we should not put too much pressure on him or expect the world that is not to say he won't deliver but we should not automatically expect it. But as I say if he comes I'd be delighted and I'm sure he would give 100% for the club.

and nobody would want that it goes without saying. Which is why I think if a deal is done it should only be done if it were deemed appropriate and in the best interests of the club.

Good spot John! If I were in a position to bestow them, that would receive at least two Georges

A couple of gems...
Everything will start on August 16, with a live event at the Tricycle Theatre in London, England. From then on, other events will take place until February 2015 in New York, South Africa, Jamaica, Kenya, Nigeria, Paris, Miami, and Barbados.
which translates from BS to English as
long holiday at the investors expense
and
Morell and his partner Emma started discussing life and personal footprints. The conversation continued for several weeks and turned into brainstorming sessions.
which really means
after much a publicized split we hooked up as soon as the creditors went away
No mention of building any hotels though, which will come as a relief. In any case, I trust the man as much as a bloke who grasses up his own club to the FA.

Update:

I re-read it and spotted another classic
“Osarge, in conjunction with the Logo, means NKONSONKONSON, Chain Links – Unity Human Relations, translated as a meaning from the Maasai language: ‘We are linked together like a chain; we are linked in life; we are linked in death. Men who share a common blood relationship never break away from one another’, Morell says.
I can't even attempt a proper translation of that one
