Re: League fixtures 2015-2016
Salford and Stamford away on a Tuesday night, yet we get Rushall away on a Saturday? Winter away trips to Whitby, Blyth, Darlington and Workington aren't too clever either. Not sure why they couldn't have been given early or end of season when the weather is better.

I don't think it's too bad overall. There have to be quite a number of midweek fixtures and Mickleover and Barwell are reasonably accessible and whilst Stamford may seem far, we are probably one of their more accessible away fixtures and there has to be some give and take.RobYeltz wrote:Salford and Stamford away on a Tuesday night, yet we get Rushall away on a Saturday? Also to be fair, Blyth is very late winter, whilst Darlington is positively early spring time when daylight hours will already be in the ascendancy. For deepest winter only Workington and Whitby are really long journeys.

Re: League fixtures 2015-2016
From a personal viewpoint I'm reasonably happy about our fixtures. Quiet a few Tuesday night home matches that I will be able to make which has made my decision in getting a 'flexi' season ticket much easier!
Bit disappointed about the Stourbr*dge game being on Boxing Day as currently it stands that I'll miss it, so will be praying for snow and/or a heavy downpour that day!
Standout away days for me include a possible trip to Sutton Coldfield as has been 13 years since I last went and Darlington away end of March which looks like international weekend.
I agree about Rushall being on the Saturday a bit silly, however could have been a lot worse.

Re: League fixtures 2015-2016
The fixtures don't look too bad. I do think however that it is a bit harsh to have Workington and Whitby away on consecutive Saturdays in January. Then Blyth and Darlington away consecutively in March, even with a week off between those games.
Would have been better if we had been in the Southern!

Stamford was a bloody nightmare last year. I think it was almost and hour and a half to even get to the A14 from the M6.Hopefully it'll be a little kinder this year. I was hoping for summer trips to Whitby and The Lake District. Gutted.

Gonna give it a go. Salford will be the awkward one I think at the moment. I'll never catch up with Roger and Dave though with 22 years of not missing a game.

You could make my 8 or so years a target though. Its a bummer when you finally miss that first one though, believe me. Mine was Newport in 2000 when my car wouldn't start. I could have kicked it down the street.....
