Saturday 11th July it's Race Night !

You are all invited to the 2nd Friends of the Grove Supporters Association event night.

On Saturday 11th July we will be hosting a night of greyhound racing (on the TV) all you have to do is pick your trap number and away you go.

The night will be £3 for adults and £2 for under 16's, anymore than 4 in a family will pay no more than £10.
This will include food and Adults will have the chance to win cash prizes, Children can win prizes too.
You will receive play money and the aim is to win as much as you can.
The ones with the most play money at the end of all of the races will win prizes.
There will also be a raffle which will be a £1 a ticket for some great items (which will be posted on here soon)

The event will start around 730pm, The Yeltz are playing in a pre season friendly at 3pm on the afternoon of this event for your information.

The original plan was every other month roughly but thought we'd try this as a few folk have asked about a race night and the JG was available on this evening.

The FOTSA are looking to do events most months, there won't be one in August due to the kids holidays, a lot depends really on interest and will try and offer a wide range of different events. Even so if that event doesn't appeal folks are welcome to just come down, soak up the atmosphere, buy a raffle ticket and have a beer or two!

Other nights in the process of being organised include a Doubles Table Football Tournament in September, a Halloween party in October, and hopefully either a Christmas party or New Years Eve party.

If the forthcoming events are a fraction as good as the Poker night they will be very sucessful and I would recommend to anyone that they attend.

Good of you to say Dave, would be good if a lot more would give it a go, though the ones that have so far have had enjoyed it and that's what matters, it is for the good of the club after all !
