If people hadn't been so defensive in September and slated me for saying it, I would probably have been willing to make the call. It's too late now. Why would I want to help Stourbr*dge out?!

I don't like being as harsh as I have been, but it's my opinion. Instead of saying he's wrong, and getting all defensive when I first made the comments, maybe the better approach would have been to go away, think about it and work on it instead of just saying I am out of order

Right, were to start.... here we go.

First and most importantly thank you to the fans with positive comments, whether that has been on the forum/Facebook/twitter , nothing more appreciative then coming from fans that pay to watch you week in week out, thank you.
Ill shall never claim to be as quick as Curtis or Ben, as skilful as Jean-Michelle or as good as Michael Carrick at passing, but what I gave was legs and energy when ever John asked me to, I accept my shooting the season just gone has not been acceptable, but with a few assists (with my feet) Aaron Daniels (goal) V Barwell at Home, A pass to kristian Green (missed chance) v Marine Away, Barwell Away, a ball with the outside of my foot to Robert Thompson-Brown, possibly the best pass I will ever do, just a few assists/passes that stick in my mind, I can not accept that my passing has been questioned to the extent that it has, and to say that I am unfit for this level is 99% wrong, if you were to ask many lads from last season, I am certain that id be in the top 4-5 of fittest in the team, for anyone that would like to know I got to the gym 4-5 times a week as well as training during the season.

never knew id have to justify my performances over the season but some people just have to be put right im afraid, for all I know yeltz27 maybe be some ex-professional but even still im not sure I could accept your comments.

Also you all have your own opinions to why I have left and as posted earlier my number is there for anyone to ring me and I will have no problem in telling you as I don't wish to post them out loud, but some of the comments are partly right but the majority are wrong.
I didn't want to leave that is just non-league football, so please do not hesitate to call me.
Maybe one day I maybe accepted back to The Grove.

Thank you
Tonksy

Fair play Tonksy. I think most of us are just peeved at your destination not your commitment. Cheers for your efforts here.

Echo that post.

No need to justify yourself to comments about your work rate, everyone with common sense can see how hard you work and how fit you are.

Fair play for coming on to the forum to give your view.

I never worked out how you are able to launch those howitzer throw-ins, so that must involve some kind of regime.

Totally agree. I don't think anyone can question his commitment whilst he played for us and think criticising fitness is a bit extreme but once again the famous forum quote 'Everyone is entitled to their opinion.' He may have his reasons for moving and guess we have to respect those but fair to say it's still disappointing from someone who I thought could be a Yeltz hero and play here for a year or two more.

It probably wouldn't have been as bad if he had gone to Rushall, they finished higher than us and more local to him especially being from Walsall could possibly understand it more then.

But Stourbr*dge.....still can't believe it! ;D
