I would go for the shirt we're trying to solve as the change shirt the following season
Now that keepers shirt is one of the best I've seen... bring that style back I say!

Lol very 90's! It seemed to be a trend for Goalkeeper kits to be flashy around that era! No idea why!

Whilst we're on the theme of retro kits I do like the said kit with the pinstripes - with pinstripes seeming to be making a reappearance through the lists ie. WBA maybe that's something that could be looked at in future kits...who knows?!

Its no good, the loft awaits. By the way Doc you wondered why one of the Dorchester photos was dark. Well i can confirm we wore shorts and it was freezing cold but much ale sorted that problem. As for the fact it looked dark, well I have a reason for this bizarre phenomenon. Apparently when the sun goes down at the end of each day there is less light in the sky, and this very thing happened that TUESDAY NIGHT. ::)

Just been looking on e-bay and found this programme for the match against Merthyr on 12/2/2000 and the little picture on the right hand side appears to show said shirt. If so I'd say that the shirt was worn during the 1998/1999 season.

Not even sure why we enjoyed going there. Just looking up that 96 night game and noticed that it was only on my 11th visit that we finally won there. And we've never been since.

I'm tempted to take a trip down to the Yeltz bar! They have loads of old pictures around the place, squad photos etc. This is really bugging me as well now!

I can name all of the Halesowen players on that programme, except the one in the bloody striped shirt...

Clockwise from under the H - Crispy, Crispy, Birchy, Mystery Bloke, Matty Gardiner, No Comparison, Danny.

Anyone?

Does anyone have one of this season's prog's to hand?

Yes I have a programme from nearly every season from about early 80's. I know I have that programme design but I couldn't tell you who the players on the front are unfortunately.

Too much hair for Woody I think.

And I'd think that the pic would be from the year before (at least) as the covers to the programme don't change during the season.

I though it looked like Matt Martin (the first one), but I'm years out...

It might be Matt Gardiner?
