When I have been struggling to stay upright in the mud when walking the dog and yesterday struggled with a wave effect caused by the wind on my Bovril, isn't it amazing we have had decent football at all?! My guess is that we need lots of warm sunshine on the pitch and for it not to be played on for a few weeks. This won't happen. The team could have resorted to hoof in the air tactics but have not and we have gratefully shared their frustrations, rather than blamed them. Well done to all on getting pitches playable, trying to keep the ball on the grass or mud and for some at times better football than we watched for years -even over the festive period when some of us also struggled to chase the dog, never mind a football.
Personally, I think you should keep your dog off the pitch. Try Uffmoor Woods or Clent - much prettier.
