Re: First Yeltz Memories....
Worcester City on 25/09/68 in the Worcester Senior Cup, won 3-2. Only 9 years old so a friend's dad took a load of us from the Whittingham Road / Newfield Crescent area around, had a great time and was hooked. Even watched a lot of 2nd Team matches during the early 70's, home games only of course. Dropped out later due to Uni, etc. but lucky to find more time just as the early 80's glory years got going, and have stuck with it through good and bad (except for the boycott of course) though have always regretted not being able to get to many away games. The Yeltz are just a part of my life in a weird way, my mother still lives in the house from which I used to walk to matches back in the 60's, and I still drop the car off and do so today.

Re: First Yeltz Memories....
Nice to see my topic on their first Yeltz game come back to the top of the forum today, in what was today ironically one of the best non-league games I have ever attended, home or away. It was a classic game and for any 'older' Yeltz fan who happened to visit the War Memorial today, it must've been a throwback to what the old dayside following football were like, a good 'old' fashioned derby - fantastic!!
By the way...if anyone still has a programme from the FA Cup game against Canvey Island in 2001 going spare, please let me know!!
