One of our fans, formally of this parish but rarely seen hereabouts nowadays, had a brief spell refereeing in the Birmingham AFA.
He too was abused by some young ruffian, but he took a somewhat more direct approach and knocked the miscreant out.
I couldn't possibly condone such behaviour...

Entirely right Dutchref. If all that police involvement does is to make the culprit reflect on his immaturity, it will be worthwhile.

The other response would be to tell him that you would steal his bicycle to prove it, but he was probably too ignorant to understand.

;D Happy Matchday tonight. At 20.00 I Will be refereeing NEC Nijmegen v Rohda Raalte on an artificial 4g pitch. One of the matches that will have a go tonight. Hope many specs Will come tonight.
