Possible Play offs have a bet
After getting home tuesday last,i thought i would do some fact figures on the league.
League or Play Offs usually average 2pts per match.Figures as at 18th November.
Skelmersdale 22 45pts average 2.04
Buxton 20 35 1.75
Curzon 19 35 1.84
Ramsbottom 19 32 1.68
Grantham 21 32 1.52
Ashton 18 30 1.66
Kings Lynn 17 30 1.76
Halesowen 18 23 1.27
I worked out that if we averaged 2pts per game from now on we would average 1.71 Almost in the play offs ,On the basis of this i had an e/way bet at 100/1 fantastic price since last tuesday figures are even better no one averaging over 2pts per game and S---------- are 12/1 joke.
Hope you find this of interest

Re: Possible Play offs have a bet
Leagues at our level will always have a disparity of number of games games played, and also the number of home and away games played can vary wildly.
Therefore for many years I have kept my own league table from about 10 games in.
It works simply by assuming 3 points for a home game and one for away game, and then take off actual point earned to date. Basically it says that if you need a 2 point average to win the league then this shows how far away each team is.
Strangely this year is the first ever that there are no teams in positive territory.
And to prove the point about league tables lying just look at our friends Blyth.... 20th in the published table but 9th in the adjusted one !!!
Also, it pains me to say it, but my favourites for this league, given that they have already had their shaky spell are our friends from Amblecote. Bugger rivalry...at 12/1 I've invested a few bob in them
23/Nov
Skelmersdale United -2
Curzon Ashton -2
Stourbr*dge -4
Buxton -7
Ramsbottom United -7
Ilkeston FC -7

Re: Possible Play offs have a bet
Really looking forward to getting a match report from our resident "ex pro" as long as he wasn't on one of his international high exec trips,no doubt scouting for a world powerhouse such as Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
There was no real difference between tonight's match and the FC United match apart from the result, the actual football on offer is dire,no creativity in midfield,no player breaking the first tackle and attacking the space in front of him and even if we had that player, there's not a lot for him to then look forward to in terms of forward quality.
Managers and coaches always know best, theres no way a fan can ever win the argument with them but for the life of me i cannot understand how KRD can get the centre forward gig,his hold up play and reading of the game in the forward position are simply not good enough.
I watch the way Bowerman moves, his appreciation of space and his awareness and the quality of his finishes,i simply cannot fathom how he is not playing down the middle as centre forward whilst Benbow is still not fit.
I'll never be a "happy clapper",i'm not going to say things just be popular and toe the party line and i know the usual suspect will be waiting to jump on my comments, quite frankly i couldn't give a "Daffy Duck" what said poster thinks,in my opinion the team has gone backwards quite alarmingly in terms of football quality, the actual entertainment level is extremely poor at present, this is a pale shadow of the side of a couple of years ago, watching Stour was real value when Wurzel,Rowe,Ben,Lloydy,Bennett et al were in their pomp,we played football on the found,we passed and moved and entertained,i'm afraid that is usually no longer the case and i find it quite sad.
There is absolutely no criticism from me about commitment and attitude though, the effort is still there, nobody is taking the pee and not putting in a shift, the actual effort perhaps deserves better results at times but i feel we need to go back to playing the Stourbr*dge way rather than this longer ball approach.
We simply have to find a quality midfield schemer to replace Sean and a couple of quality strikers pronto or this season is dead in the water.

They obviously don't look at current form when they work out these odds. Top of current form (last 5 matches) are us and Barwell (both 12 points from the last 15) but odds of 100/1 and 33/1 respectively, whereas Skelmersdale are favourites at 2/1, but there current form is dire (6 point from last 15)terry4386 wrote:feed innorthern leaguebetting click on oddschecker betvictor 100/1 bet365 66/1
