Ok I remember now, the days of MM, which also means then there was another match abandoned in that season 2007/08 which was against Gloucester on 15th Jan and eventually replayed on 11th March

I suspect that the Bromsgrove match is the first of the away matches you list, I can't see any other reason why we would have played them three times in the League cup (a 2-legged fixture seems pretty pointless as well though).
I'm surprised it was 1998 though, I'd have put it a few years earlier.

Another abandoned game at about the same time was a midweek ?cup match at Bromsgrove. I caught the train up from London but had to wait ages for a taxi from the station to the ground, got there at half time and paid to go in, just in time for the ref to call it off for fog.

Yes I remember you coming through the turnstiles just as the ref made his decision. Not at all funny.
