I went to Felixstowe and that was bloody east. Although it looks just a tad closer to us than Margate, so I've no idea what's further east. Antwerp?

Felixstowe Port & Town FC (now Felixstowe and Walton United) was what I was thinking of, but as you say, it looks like Margate is about a mile further East.
Have we ever played anyone from deeper into East Angular? Great Yarmouth? Lowestoft?

Or at the other end of the map, Sean Flynn's old team, Falmouth Town?

Something, something, "Mongolian yurt", something.

2 outstanding memories for me from Felixstowe & Port, apart from the result:

Players had to walk a distance from the changing rooms to the pitch. At half-time, although we were in front, Stuart Hall kept them in the middle of the pitch and really laid into them. Matty Clarke in particular had a roasting for their goal.

Behind one goal Jed's Shed sold great food, for £2.50 you got everything in a bap - egg, bacon, sausage, mushroom, tomato and probably more.....

Another venture of ours into Norfolk was Watton, although not deepest Norfolk. Watton is noted for being our last FA Vase victory, at home but not at The Grove.

Without looking it up, I seem to remember it being at The Dell "Stadium"?

Because of the pitch problems, that season we used Lye for Ampthill in the FA Cup and Alvechurch in the Worcs Senior, Kidderminster was used for Redditch in the Bill Dellow (Southern League) Cup.

It would've been a shock to the neighbours but also they may have felt let off lightly compared to the West Midlands League Cup Final, which followed 2 matches against Tividale in the same week :
20-May-85 TIVIDALE H 345 2 0 CALDICOTT MOORE SHERWOOD WARNER RANDLE HEATH HAZLEWOOD SMITH D WESTON JOINSON P* JOINSON L PENN
21-May-85 TIVIDALE A 2 2 CHILTON BRADLEY MOORE GUEST LACEY PENN WESTON* STAFFORD WOODHOUSE WHITEHEAD DUNKLEY* NOKES
23-May-85 OLDSWINFORD (LC)
Final at Tividale 1,250 3 1 CALDICOTT MOORE SHERWOOD WARNER RANDLE PENN HAZLEWOOD* SMITH D WOODHOUSE JOINSON P JOINSON L** WESTON

Talking of Felixstowe, didn't it rain a bit and locals said it was the first in 5 months? They said for some microclimatical reason rain doesn't reach that area very often. Maybe the same reason you can't receive electric yet Doc. Flippin' outposts....

I'll have you know that we have all the electricity we can eat here in North Yorks.

I still have to fetch it from the bottom of the garden in a bucket though...
