The more I think about it, the more I'm struggling to think of a scenario where both teams would decide the tie there and then.
It might come to " Stuff this our players are too tired to play tonight let's toss a coin to see who goes through to the next round" I can just imagine that happening and the coin toss done in the centre circle in front of the paying fans !

someone else will know more than me but it should be that we claim all travel costs from their gate and then have half the remaining, after the match expenses...that is of course if theres enough taken thru gate to cover any of the above! it may be possible to claim any loss from travel (and if stay in hotel required) from fa..wouldnt look good would it..'club goes bust due to cost of away travel to cup match'

Is it likely the players will stay over? (Should we beat Matlock of course, let's not be presumptuous)

When we played Blyth 10 years ago, players and officials stayed over in Newcastle for the Friday night. The supporters coach travelled on Saturday morning and stayed on after the game to watch England v Turkey in their clubhouse. It was a late arrival back in Halesowen.

Sorry for everyone else, but I am very pleased about the draw as it's less than an hour's travel for me to get to Blyth
Hope it's not too good to be true and we can get a result tonight.

One to stop people doing any work this morning - surely this is the furthest North we've ever played?
Would we add Truro, Margate and probably Truro again to that list?

Blyth must be the furthest north, closely followed by Gretna away? (Although one could argue that's South.......Scotland

I still think that my Cardinal points are right, although there may be a further East than Margate - anyone?
As a hint, I think Chemo won the meat raffle in their clubhouse after the match. And no, that's not a euphemism for a night out in Snobs...
