Yeltz TV

Post by DanielRolinson » 06 Oct 2014, 23:12

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know about some improvements were are about to see with our official Youtube channel.

We have just bought some converter software so we can now get all the clips from the camera onto the laptop without any hitches (hopefully!)

As a bundle this included some editing software which blows Windows Movie Maker completely out of the water, this should allow us to overlay our graphics rather than stop the footage, show the graphic, restart the footage, this should already be a huge improvement. We also have a nice sturdy tripod and we plan on filming on top of the dug out - we had a little experiment and it worked a lot better than we thought it did at first.

We hope you can still stick with us through this project as we are getting an incredible amount of views per episode. Make sure that you are subscribed so you don't miss a video and you make others aware of the channel as there are still some people who don't know about us or the exact channel name for example.

Anyway, onto the next game Tuesday night.

Cheers.

As above really. I'd like to thank the club and the fans for sticking with us (even when we've had the hiccups). Hopefully the highlights tonight will be as good as the test runs Dan had made with the trial of the software. Up the Yeltz!

Keep at it :) we had nothing before so anything is an improvement.

You're clearly not happy with just being there and recording, and always looking to improve your videos. That is a brilliant attribute.

It's all witchcraft...

Keep up the good work lads, as Raiden says anything is better than we had before, but is really is good to see your work progressively getting better

You're doing a great job, guys.

It's been rightly pointed out that we had nothing like this last season, and the videos are a great engagement tool for people to see online. Even if I've been to the game, I'll always enjoy watching them back.

It's things like this (and Dave's excellent photography) that are boosting the club's profile, and there are many others in this league who would love to have these sort of extras on a matchday. So well done and thank you.

Ditto Lads.

I won't say anything is better than nothing.

However, all your recordings and highlights have been gratefully appreciated.
Sometimes depending where you stand you can miss things and other times it happens that fast and busy celebrating and texting the image does not retain in the memory. Well the older you get that is.

Keep up the good work.

Becareful of the clearance balls hurtling towards you. Says he having experience a couple of ball in face incidents (without camera).

Also watch out for any flag gate incidents. Liekly to be at away games (Matlock cough!) thou rather than home.

Looking forward to seeing your Hi-Viz jackets with Yeltz TV on the back. ;)

Excellent work lads. Please don't make it too good though, we want people to come to the games. ;-)

I like the idea of the hi-viz jackets :D Might have to get a Yeltz TV flag as well :P Anybody know where we could get a custom flag from?

As for ball to face incidents, last match the ball hit my tripod, sent the camera funny so I turned it off and it wouldn't come back on! You can imagine how happy I was with that lol
