By playing Tilt in midfield we have effectively signed a midfielder. As that is a place we desperately needed to improve then it may turn out to be a good move. That said, don't all come on here telling me you weren't just a little surprised at the signing of another defender, when we were not conceding many, yet creating little and scoring even less. You are allowed on occasions to say that the odd halo might require polishing.....

There's a difference between surprise and lack of respect.

Good to know some share my earlier opinions. May the scoring floodgates that appeared to have been rattled on Saturday remain even more widely open, without the threat to the forwards that they may otherwise be replaced up front by Seargent?!
Tongue out of cheek now but I have just been stuck in Brum in traffic. Some conference happening apparently.

Steve, Andy and myself must remember that if our opinions differ to those of Raidens', because we would like to see more CREATIVE football played, then we are showing A lack of respect

We saw more creativity on Saturday after a change in formation.

Tilt in the middle with Forde allowed us to play Lait and Thomson-Brown more freely.

I suppose if we are going to push Tilt into midfield and one of Kettle or Hull gets injured, we need someone to back them up. Also, Asa has been playing well but if he gets a suspension or injured then we also have back-up in Tesfa.

Still, the signing makes perfect sense in my eyes.
