Re: Non League Day
Brilliant idea, although what is the price for kids? Surely can't charge them £5 if its only £3 normally?

£5 for adults will definitely catch a few eyes, it will hopefully get a lot more in to the grove too. I think we should be able to get a 1,000 or is that a bit too much to hope for?

There are what, 30,000 residents of Halesowen alone? I know we have supporters in Cradley, Old Hill, Rowley, Quinton, Oldbury, Blackheath. I see no reason if we could all have a real big go at marketing this game why we shouldn't get 1,000 people in but it would need a big team effort!beastyyeltz wrote:£5 for adults will definitely catch a few eyes, it will hopefully get a lot more in to the grove too. Re: Non League Day
I have got a feeling the last time Non league day was at "The Grove" it was :-
Halesowen Town 1-6 Hemel Hempstead 2010
A few days after we beat them lot up the road 2-0 Hemel gave us a kicking, then the wheels really came off.
Not going to happen this year !

Re: Non League Day
Well done to the club for this lets see if we can make it a warm welcome from all, even if someone stands or sits in your spot. This could encourage future attendance.
A nice touch for the "moaners at the Grove" an old song sang at away games season ticket holders get a free drink in the bar. Mine is a quadruple whiskey!!! Only kidding a pint will do.
Although most of my work mates live all over the midlands and the wrong side of Brum I will push it at work.
Lets get something into radio WM early see if they will come down and cover us after our success last year.
