Been down again today for a few hours and the pitch is looking much, much better. There is still a lot of weeding to be done on the terraces, as well as the dug outs needing painting ( I believe Dave the photographer will be doing this). Strimming by the shed as well as a few other jobs.

I am however going to have a bit of a moan. I've been a little disappointed by the lack of numbers at these working parties if I'm honest. I appreciate people have work and family commitments but for a club like Halesowen it is imperative that we can all contribute in some way. I'd love to be able to offer more financially to the club but I can't. I too have a house and a family to support so my way of helping is to offer my time. If more people offered more time then this in turn would hopefully mean the club would have less to pay out and hopefully this would give the manager more finance for the team.

I acknowledge with our fanbase some people may not be of an age to help but if you are, get your arse down the club tomorrow or Tuesday or Thursday night.

AVFC you can guarantee I will be adding to the numbers next week, I've been on holiday for the last week but I'm back now so I will be down sometime this week

I will indeed AV, but to echo your moan somewhat the numbers ave been very disappointing, in the 3 occasions i've been down the most there have been there is 6, massive thanks to those who have come down, and appreciate some have other commitments, but it may mean that some of the painting jobs have to be put on the back burner as the pitch is priority.

But, i have given my word, so will complete asap.

With the friendlies starting next Saturday we have to get the numbers down tomorrow, Tuesday and Thursday, as essentially we are going to lose a days preperation with each away friendly.

Just got back from doing a couple of hours this morning, what a difference having plenty pairs of hands makes! Still plenty to do, so try and get down if you can if only for an hour.

Left about 12.15 shed end goal looking much improved, other end goal all dug out just needs a spot of leveling prior to turfing on Thursday.

The turn around with many hands today was superb, another few sessions like that should see us back on track, although I am convinced Neil is a robot

Great to see the pitch looking in much better condition than the other Thursday. All being well should be down Tuesday night. Enjoy it to be honest :)
