Everybody's happy nowadays

We won the league well who'd have thought
Leek and Coalville both were caught
Now most re signed and so's Ben 10
Could we do the same again?

The title was ours, we put on a show,
Through endeavour and skill - and the odd long throw,
Trev ran to celebrate with The Shed,
Such a turn of pace, 'like a Ferrari' they said.

We drank and we sang on our travels we did,
The miles on the clock didn't matter one bit,
The boys on the pitch, they did us all proud,
We'll see you next season with even bigger crowds!

Very Good ! How's this ??

The Higher league will be very tough
But with Hill in charge better than Clough
The team spirit we have and help from us
I am sure we'll be there for the promotion push !

I'm having a sneaky bet on winning the league. And another on promotion through the play offs.

I believe in this squad.

But I'm realistic in expectation! Mid tabled security at Christmas will do me.

Yes I will be having a small punt this season again as I am in profit. Would love 33/1 but that would be an insult to our squad of players I think.

A few hundred fans went to Belper,
To see the yeltz hope's swelter,
For the Gresley win was a helper,
To give Haseley his league winning belter!
