Derek Dudley played in most of the matches that season (Gary Gibbs was our goalie in 2 early September games) until the end of January when Mark Hart became first choice except for a couple of games for Danny McDonnell.
We were around mid-table when we lost 1-0 to Stafford Rangers on 13th Feb but then went on a great run of 12 wins and 5 draws, including Mark Bellingham's unforgettable late winner at Gravesend. We also had a long night trip to Dorchester on the Tuesday before the Saturday when we beat Rushden.

That Rushden game was my first ever Yeltz away trip - and what a cracker it was! Hoping for more of the same in the future

Mark Hart tks that's who it was....Didn't rate him as a goalkeeper not a patch on danny but had a amazing run in goal saved everything I think it was at rushden had a great game.

Passed on his talent to his eldest son, the current Man City and England keeper, I believe
