Personally I hope we don't end up in the same league as Stourbr*dge. Hate the place, never enjoy it, don't wish to ever go again. Woud like to go back to Blyth Spartans, visit Matlock and would love FC United.

It was tolerable when watching a Glenn Turner century before lunch but rarely on other occasions. I do miss the gasometer.

Maybe we'll get the derby game and the long trips up north if this projection is anything to go by.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... _web#gid=0

It does depend upon certain play-off assumptions.

League allocations apparently due to be confirmed on May 15th.

If I could choose a projection it would be the one above, sending us north with some interesting new opponents. The problem is I just cannot believe that will happen for the following reasons.
The chap who produces this prediction 'Black Douglas' makes the most sensible plans based upon overall mileage, ease of access etc and has done so for years. Problem is the FA never agree with him.
He has wanted to move Cambridge City to the Isthmian League for the last couple of years (it has not happened) and also adds in Histon (with whom they groundshare) and even more unlikely Kings Lynn.
Then to 'balance the books' moves two establishment Isthmian clubs Harrow Boro & Hendon to the Southern League. Unfortunately to me that is just unrealistic.
Which leaves the other scenario of us joining our A456 neighbours & Redditch back in the Southern League.

29th July 1981 - I was there (instead of being at home watching Charles and Di's wedding on the box).

Looking forward to welcoming you all to Amblecote again next season, either in the SL or the NPL. It makes no logical sense for us to be in separate Leagues at the same level... but then it made no logical sense for Hinckley and Barwell to be in separate Leagues this season, albeit only for a couple of months, so who knows...?

Must say I'm not keen on yeltz85's idea of us both being in the Northern League. Never could get the hang of the Geordie accent...

So, in effect it's either us and Stourbr*dge in the north or Stamford and Kings Lynn.

Looks like Redditch in the north too and Stamford, K Lynn, Corby, Cambridge C and St Neots going to Isthmian..seems too logical for it to be adopted
