Transfer deadline day tomorrow?

Post by RaidenYeltz » 26 Mar 2014, 15:52

Would like to see one or two signings, being greedy!

But if not I'm more than happy with what we've got for the remaining games.

Being greedy, I think we could do with a wing back to cover Asa if / when suspended (Sorry Brendon :( ) and another winger, depending on Lait's injury news?

I think for this level of football we have a decent quality squad which is good enough to win the league or the play-offs. I'm not the management personally speaking I feel we have no real need of any additional players unless they're going to add something extra to the squad we have for example somebody on loan from a football league club or somebody who will add another dimension to the squad I think it's pointless in signing somebody just to make up the numbers. Basically what I'm saying is if we do sign anybody they have to add something to the squad or do a particular job. Just my view of course we wait and see if anything happens.

Meachan can cover for Asa if needed.

I think we have enough to see us through the remaining six games.

They could always register Stokeys in case we need a keeper and Guesty and if really desperate Raiden ;)

If they put a beer in each corner flag I'd be a cracking winger.

I think the signing of Danks is useful in the respect he can play wide, upfront or as an attacking midfield player. We're pretty well blessed in midfield with hopefully Lait still to come back.
I think we are OK to be honest, and credit to those involved for getting Botfield and Danks into the club. If I was being ultra greedy another central defender who can cover RB would be useful....A right footed Brendan if you like who can cover the right side of defence. As I say though, I'm being ultra greedy.

Can't see the need for any extra players really we have a squad capable of completing the goals we have for the last six games of the season. I'm fully confident with this squad and at this level we couldn't ask for better!
