I think you are correct on saying that it is the kits with a black back panel and stripes on the front that are the real issue.

Am I the first person to point out that we used to play in black? I think that kit was my favourite of all time, maybe because we were pretty successful in it.

It was about this time that I did a ref's course (which involved lots of whistle blowing, card thrusting and running backwards) and the bloke running it said that reffing Halesowen was a nightmare as they'd have to change their kit especially. I think pretty much all ref's wore black at the time!

Ahh, the halcyon days...precious times...etc

YELLOW ARMIES...yellow armies...YELLOW ARMIES...yellow armies

Yellow, yellow...it's good to be black, it's good to be black...yellow, yellow...

Should bring a tear of nostalgia to the eye of El Seano, Andy A and a few others.

Should you wish to re-live the sartorial crimes of the past, keep an eye on Fleabag. I noticed this re-listed at something like £7.45 and Big Nige just laughed at me.....

Linked on the same page, this lady's selling style is pretty interesting.

I don't think that she has the full kit on. If you follow the links, you can see her other items. As it were...

Bit off topic, but seeing as Noggin mentioned old kits here... :P

How feasible is it, for those in charge of ordering kits etc, to order an old kit in?

I doubt it can be done, but worth an ask. I only ask I've seen this kit worn at the ground;

Really like it and would love a long sleeve version! :)
