Re: Eastwood, The FA and our club
What are the exact FA rules regarding people's involvement in clubs?
Let's say the worst case scenario happens, Steve Lynch is punished by the FA for his involvement in Eastwood what could the FA do to Halesowen?
I don't understand the ins and outs of what happens in the board room, hence my comments about not being overly concerned above.
For me as long as we're successful on the pitch that's all we can want. What I want at least.
Either way will be interesting what the FA can and can't do to Halesowen whatever happens at Eastwood.

Re: Eastwood, The FA and our club
I've just had a quick check to see the potential impact if Eastwood's record is expunged....and by the looks of it all the teams at the top (Yeltz, Leek, Coalville and Belper) have played them once, and beaten them.
So all square in terms of points and games in the title race (or playoff race, depending on your level of expectation).

The FA are the governing body so they could issue a fine, give a FA cup ban, deduct points and anything in between.RaidenYeltz wrote:What are the exact FA rules regarding people's involvement in clubs?

AVFCYELTZ don't waste your breath on folk like Colin Bobble, the fact that he has only posted 37 times since 2011 speaks volumes that HTFC is doing ok, he only posts when there is a sniff that things could be going tits up !
Said this before and I will say it again have no problem with people being critical or negative, but it should work both ways, when things are going ok those same people should hang around long enough to at least acknowledge that fact ! It's as if some people are happy when things don't go well, ChangesNightSpot and Colin Bobble are 2 for a pair.
Have loved the last few years and hopefully we will continue to progress both on and off the pitch.

Their forum now seems certain too:

It's official now Julia, does this mean that Lynch has now gone??
No it just means they are no longer in the league.

It is a shame for the couple of hard workers at the club and the true fans. The ones who stopped until the end when the team has not been successful for the last few seasons.

Re: Eastwood, The FA and our club
Sad to see another club go, especially with all these rich clubs around paying 300k a week to players, it's a disgrace ! Sooner or later the bubble will burst and something will be done to help smaller clubs ( probably not in my lifetime )
Surely with what is trying to be achieved with the future of our kids, good football from an early age etc, all this should be looked at from the bottom to the top, it's fairly obvious to get to the top from the bottom these players have to work their way up, so the less non league clubs means where are they supposed to go ?? How many English players do you know in the last few years that have gone through an academy then play in the first team in the premier league, not many, makes my blood boil !
RIP Eastwood Town. Who's next I wonder .......?
