I think a few people went over the top in having a moan at the lights...they should have gone to Brigg! I recall Romulus / Sutton being quite dark too.

Undoubtedly they needed patching up and it's great to read they'll be up to football league standard, but they were as good as anything in this league without x amount of bulbs! Never had an issue with vision at the Grove!

Fair play to the club, sponsors and others who have donated funds. Will be good to see.

Another six feet on the front of the bar and there may have been a problem!

I would rather us play in candle lights and get the fans to hold up lighters and torches than lose the bar!

i would just like to say when we planned the lounge that we actually took into account the need for the lights to be lowered...i would like to say that, but.... ;D

All failed bulbs and their respective igniters have been replaced - bar one on the pylon near to the Family Enclosure. This needs a new lamp holder which was damaged due to overheating.
This and further maintenance will be carried out in the spring, but the improvement will be noticeable at the next home game.
