Hi All,
Bad news, Ben has been told again no contact sports for another six weeks.
Eye is still bruised, and sight is still not as it should be.
Ben himself is frustrated at not being able to play, and wants to be part of this great run.
Hopefully it will clear up in time.
See you all at Brigg.
regards
Andy (number 10`s Dad)
Good luck to Ben

From a playing perspective I'm obviously gutted as a fan and for him. We can all see he wants to play and he's been kicking every ball on the sidelines.
If the six weeks is accurate (hopefully it'll clear up sooner!
) then these are the games he will miss.
January;
33 Sat 11 NLS a Brigg Town 15:00
34 Tue 14 NLS H COALVILLE TOWN 19:45
35 Sat 18 NLS H RAINWORTH MINERS WELFARE 15:00
36 Sat 25 NLS a Market Drayton Town 15:00
February;
37 Sat 01 NLS a Sheffield 15:00
38 Sat 08 NLS a Gresley 15:00
39 Sat 15 NLS a Goole AFC 15:00
His first game back could be Leek at home

Gutted for Ben. I can't imagine his frustration. That said, as much as we can't wait to see him in a Yeltz shirt again his long term health can't be compromised. If another 6 weeks is needed for his health to no longer be in question then so be it. I would hate to be the centre half trying to mark him on his return, he'll be like a man possessed.

Sad news for Ben but nice to hear that Andy and Jean will be at Brigg. Look forward to meeting you again.
As said his health is the most important thing.
No disrespect to Ben the team have done well in his absence.
Patterson has finished his loan spell.
Lets hope Jephcott is able to attend Saturday.
