Presume Ben Haseley will still be away for this.
I don't know why you'd be in the Caribbean when you can play a Winters' game in Halesowen!

Yipeeee.
I missed the game against Carlton and hopefully will not see Rube Wiggens Thomas score any goals at this match as he has moved to Bedworth.

I know they are struggling, but I am not sure it's a great or even necessary idea re-arranging another fixture without Ben. The players may benefit from a week off anyway.RaidenYeltz wrote:Presume Ben Haseley will still be away for this.
OK, I know that bad winter weather may cause a possible backlog, but there is no home game scheduled for 6 weeks between January and early March.

I believe the club has no choice.juanillo wrote:I know they are struggling, but I am not sure it's a great or even necessary idea re-arranging another fixture without Ben. The players may benefit from a week off anyway.RaidenYeltz wrote:Presume Ben Haseley will still be away for this.

Agreed, but there are two home games that need re-arranging (Belper Town and Coalville Town) and this league has been very good to us with re-arrangements since we came into it last season. I imagine that won't be lost on them and we'll play one home match at least in that period.juanillo wrote:there is no home game scheduled for 6 weeks between January and early March.

Am I the only one who thinks we'll do just fine without Ben? With respect to his quality I think we are more than capable of winning without him.

Re: Fixture Alteration Bedworth United
If I was one of the new guys coming in I would be thinking what an opportunity this could be for me ! A couple of games or so without Ben and time to really make a mark, you could argue that since Christie hasn't played there has been no regular 2nd striker so that place is up for grabs for sure. If the players have this attitude and I really think so it will only be good for the team, I was impressed with all the newbies Tuesday, and once again John Hill has proved he can go out there and pick players up who can add a bit to the squad, keep the other players on their toes by making the competition for starting places tough. We will miss Ben but it will be interesting to see what the response is and how hungry certain players are to grasp the opportunity ! We shall see.

In years past the club secretary re-arranged fixtures.
My understanding is this league the league secretary re-arranges the games and we are told who and where.
I agree with Daz we have seen new additions who seem to have fitted in quickly and good players.
Will miss Ben but will still be capable of winning games.

Do you see the League doing the re-arrangment as a good thing, a bad thing or indifferent? The feedback I have heard is that the Northern is generally better organised than the Southern
