Well it was actually three new blokes tonight and a good performance by all three. Two starting and one on as a sub.

Danny Waldron was an unused sub a few times towards the end of last season.

Yes Danny has been very impressive when I have watched the youth team play.
So much so that I have often scratched my head when we have been short of forwards both recently and at the end of last season.

Indeed....while we can't expect Danny to be a replacement for Ben, he didn't look out of place last night. As with his Youth team performances when he often has defenders not knowing which way to turn, his presence on the pitch belied his young age.
His Mom was just a little excited too

Good luck to our Youth team tonight at Studley against Worcester, Sheffield United here we come!
