Sweet relief - it's over!

The best thing of today's game was the final whistle! Freezing cold, awful football.

Have a good summer, everyone!

Let's be honest, for all the HTFC attempts to play attractive, passing football, Taunton created more actual goal scoring opportunities than we did. Or rather, our defence allowed them to, and yes it looked to me like yet another defensive misunderstanding that led to the goal. We have played a lot of desperately poor teams this season but they have one thing that we lack : organisation at the back and at set pieces. We have to work for our goals, theirs are so often gifted to them. If the manager does not sort it out then it doesn't matter which league we are in next season you can kiss the promotion/play-offs positions goodbye.

Defensive and discipline frailties aside, who would have taken mid-table at the start of the season? I know I would have.

Debating whether we want Shaun in charge next season or not (when officially he is anyroad), surely we've got some sort of platform to build on for next season?
