This always baffled me. How come in a ground made mostly of wood did his face find a lump of concrete?

It’s Westie’s construction background coming to the fore. He has some kind of concrete homing instinct. So strong that he felt the need to face plant the steps

The encouraging thing for me is another clean sheet. That's 4 under the new gaffer now. Maybe 'boring' at the moment but if you don't concede you don't lose. A good platform to start building on.

7 games in and won 5 lost 2 … and 5 of those away … that’s champions form.
