Distinctly remember Pierce chasing down an impossible ball and pulled it back from the byline before dancing through the defenders and slotting home, … also I recall it was bloody coldandy wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 18:52I do vaguely remember there being quite a few of us as it was a new ground for us. A mate of mine used to sell bariatric surgery products along the M62 corridor for Medtronic.
My memory may be playing tricks but his hat trick display on a Tuesday night down at Bath was full of such characteristicsold git wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 20:40Distinctly remember Pierce chasing down an impossible ball and pulled it back from the byline before dancing through the defenders and slotting home, … also I recall it was bloody coldandy wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 18:52I do vaguely remember there being quite a few of us as it was a new ground for us. Ah yes. Midweek Gretna. 5 of the 15 of us somehow managed to fit into my Mom's 950cc Ford Fiesta. I seem to recall someone else got the train there, maybe?? But can't quite remember who. They've made the long journey up in vile weather, supported their team with no nastiness, and get abused and mocked because there are only a few of them. People with longer memories will remember US taking 11 to Crawley, 15 to Gretna and 20 odd to Dover, I could go on. It wasn't always this good you know.
