Some better news...

Loughborough are beating Stamford 3-1.

Kevin Bastos, the tricky forward has scored twice,; he gets a lot of penalties as well.

This should be a massive wake up call to the management team and squad. Saturday was a big opportunity missed and shows the squad needs strengthening as we are conceding far too many goals and avoidable penalties. Saturday is now a massive game, let’s hope training goes well this week

We now need to start turning in consistent performances. 3 or 4 sides probably have a decent chance of this title and one of them will be more consistent than the others. Let's make sure it's us. We're capable, but we need to prove it.

The pitch must have taken a right pounding this week and I would have thought Saturday's game may be in doubt.
Luckily all the 'top' teams play on grass so will be in the same situation. A 'carpet' team would be able to play more games and maybe gain a lead and avoid late season congestion.

Rich, we have a fantastic pitch maintained by the brilliant Ant Brettle.
The rain that we've had wouldn't have caused any problem whatsoever.
