The last photo is a corker. Their lad trying to get a lean on Ashmore and Captain Fantastic rising about two foot above both of them.

Agree that we need an alternative Doc report for all our games and reminds me of the bygone days when we had to find our own entertainment on the terraces, given the lack of anything on the pitch :D

Would the "Mathis" reference be that, both, Parker and Carter had LESS height on their, hard, side parted haircuts as opposed to MORE height on Mathis's side parted haircut? Just a guess ??? Yours in anticipation

Decent effort but no.

Keep pressing and guessing.

Hawkesbee and Jacobs bang on about it.

I'm struggling with the Mathis quiz, I don't listen to Hawksbee and Jacobs, are there anymore clues as both myself and my wife are invested, please? Thanks

It’s a “talking out of the side of your mouth” thing.
H&J are always on about Scotty P talking from the side of his mush, like a tout after spares or a spiv offering nylons.
And Johnny Mathis used to sing like that too if memory serves.

Even I’m not sure how we ended up here though.

But, we have to sing, “When a child is born” to Ash Carter from now on, with no explanation given to non-forumistas.

Doc. Simply the best match report I have read anywhere, ever. You must write a book about, well, anything, kind of mirroring that match report. Get Westy to throw in some ramblings and the nation would be gripped by confusion while celebrating the larks. I'd buy two.

My son inexplicably not getting me gravy with my pie and peas - some gibberish about me not liking them mixing. Tosh I say! Disinheritance imminent.
Completely unforgivable. Ken tries to admonish me for the use of gravy also. Honestly some people have no idea.....

But only at football matches. And why does football catering not do chips with beans over the top? I am sure there is a market for this (or it it only me)?
And before the grammar police come after me: yes, I know that I have started three sentences with prepositions, I was excited (and peckish).

Ahem, whispers, “conjunction”...

It’s easy to remember the difference. A preposition is not a thing to end a sentence on.
