It will truly be back to normal when we get the phrase....... 'GOAL!! Don't know who scored, I was in the bar' ;)

Good day yesterday. Always more of a difficult game on a plastic pitch which doesn’t help. We were the better team but they were ok, resolute and organised, difficult to break down. But another win to remain unbeaten will do our confidence a world of good heading into some difficult games coming up.

No disrespect to the opposition we’ve played so far but we need bigger tests now. You learn nothing beating teams two leagues below 5 or 6 nil. The season starts now as far as I’m concerned - Kettering will be a good one on Tuesday.

I have to agree with Dale, I too thought Sutton Coldfield were well set up and disciplined. They, Sutton, had the better of the early exchanges however as the game wore on Halesowen began, in my opinion, to exert their authority. The build up play from playing out the back and through the middle is very easy on the eye and with the amount of talent in midfield we should be able to cope with another long season. I must say the young lad upfront, Billy Shaw, looks a fantastic prospect for the future, great movement and positioning and touch. As Dale said Tuesday will be an interesting and different proposition.
