For whatever different reasons it's still 1 point from 12. We've still got some very tricky away games and Berkhamstead at home. Some are saying last night is explainable because of a tough match Saturday, well get used to it because EVERY week will be the same now until the end of the season. Not trying to put a dampener on anything, just really think this could to turn into a slog. Genuinely hope I'm wrong, this team have proved resilient up to now.
Agree Andy. Maybe this result may a slight warning to the lads that after such a long unbeaten run you still have to earn wins. Don't believe for a minute that Paul will have let them get complacent but sometimes a kick up the backside isn't a bad thing.
I'm sure Saturday we will see a reaction from the lads and we'll be back to our winning ways

Saturday 14th March.
Berko v Corby. A draw would be ideal.

I really can't see Berkhamsted and Corby winning all their games from here until the end of the season, but then I said the same about Leicester.
This is my point though. Berkhamstead haven't won all their games this far but they're still above US. There is no doubt whatsoever that on our day we are light years better than any side in this league, but a couple of tired defeats in our 2 and 3 game weeks would cost us the title.
I hope on the last day of the season you can rib me about this worrying! ;D

Andy,
What is it you say about the league in August every year? Repeat to yourself at regular intervals. Believe. Keep the Faith

I think we will win the league. If we don't it will be a travesty. I just think from some it's all become about the Trophy as if the league is a formality. It may yet prove to be. We've gone from way back when since losing in the league and we're still not top. I don't think it will get any easier.

We could've done with playing Wantage at home last night.

Class manager.

I would add we have been playing two games a week most of the last couple of months. I believe our players ability and fitness we can continue the cup and league run.

Respect every team, fear no team.

Always class. I never expect anything different from him. Credit to himself and the club.

Well I missed the game, but having watched the highlights (aka the Jack Holmes show) I was not at all disheartened. The stats at the end show we had more shots on and off target than Berko, and on another night it would have been a different story.
