I stand to be corrected but midweek games tend to pull fewer in.
They usually do, although our highest ever league home attendance was on weekday evening.

It was a Monday, so probably Summer Bank Holiday. I think it was boosted due to some shenanigans regarding Paul, he'd either signed for them, or re-signed from them to us or something.

Someone with even better pipe and slippers than me will know.

‘‘twas August Bank Holiday afternoon, the return of Paul to The Grove having signed for Worcester

I think there was a match report claiming the many visiting supporters were evidenced by the blue and white white scarves in the crowd.

Remember it well. The goal scoring legend made his first return to the Grove after signing for Worcester City. Over two and a half thousand witnessed our 2-0 victory. 1990.

2507, and no, I didn't need to look it up.
If we think that we've had a ropey last few years, Worcester have had it a lot worse.
I used to enjoy our trips to St George's Lane and nostalgia at least suggests that we used to do pretty well.

Agree with the post about Thame's gameplan. They looked well organised and had it not been what to me looked like a real howler from their keeper they may have got a point. I thought on the break they looked a good team and may have caused us a good few problems had they have come with a more positive approach

Thought we missed Robbie Bunn's link play between the midfield and forwards tonight, but credit to all 14 players they kept going and never lost their shape or discipline.
Thought we should have had 2 penalties, the first maybe questionable but the one on Colbourne which he got injured was more akin to a rugby match!!
A word though about the 2 Thame clowns on the touchline. Never heard so much moaning throughout a game and in the last 10 mins never shut up about our timewasting!!! had they forgotten the previous 80 mins??

Still a win is a win and roll on Saturday

Attendance tonight 304. Very disappointing. It's all well and good having more than that at Corby and 4 coaches going to Halifax for frankly a less meaningful game, the team deserve better support for bread and butter games like tonight as well.
As pointed out it has been amended to 367. Our usual head counter and his deputy were both unavailble last night.

I was given the task and rushing at half time to calculate the figure from all sources I miss understood something. We have 4 turnstiles and car park lists. When at home burning the early hours candle I realised the error.

You must've got confused. 304 was the number of players you registered last season.
