Pen to them.

Against the run of play, but this is what happens when you don't take chances.

Corby played earlier and won. We need a win here.

Chances keep being wasted here. Not long left.

Yeates with a good chance, but shoots just wide.

It's not happening.

Always going to be a game such as this.
We're so used to winning that it feels as though the world has come to an end!
Normal service will be resumed on New Year's Day! 👍

First half we were the much better team, we created more and better chances than Coleshill, who I can only recall having 1 shot, from a freekick, which was shot straight at Bunn.

However, we all know what happens when you're on top and don't take chances, you will ultimately get punished. And we did. I couldn't make out what happened with the pen. Our players didn't protest, so that tells you all you need to know. It looked a silly pen to give away.

We only have ourselves to blame for not winning today.

Did we play bad during the second half? No. But we weren't quite at it, and disappointingly let Coleshill get a foothold in the game, and they created more chances during the second half, than they did during the first, and looked dangerous.

It's not the end of world, it's a point away from home, on a tricky pitch against a team sat in 8th. In isolation, it's a decent point. But when you factor in the fact we were probably the better side throughout, especially the first half, took the lead, and the fact Corby won, you are left feeling disappointed.

I can't question the players attitude or effort, it was there, but the composure to finish a number of chances, wasn't. On another, more ruthless day, we'd have scored 4 or 5 today.

There's plenty of games left this season, and we're still in a fantastic position, but we must improve our conversion rate, come New Years Day.

Youve hit the nail on the head, second half. We weren't quite at it, apart from the last 10 mins or so, when we put pressure on. I dont think we can expect perfection every match, but we've been spoiled this far and overall it's a disappointing result. Coleshill were decent enough, apart from kicking lumps as often as they could, but on another day we'd have put them away. Oh well, cant win them all and a season isnt one game. Onwards and upwards!!

Attendance of 411. Considering they averaged 90 before today (now 123, after today), it's a fair estimate that we took 300 today.

Excellent following.
