Just as an aside to that, if every club had Keith and Karen's financial input and a quality groundsman as we obviously have in Ant, the question of these cheaper plastic pitches would never arise. Unfortunately for them though those 2 parameters are essential. Money and expertise.

Very definitely there are. And it goes all the way up to every premier League club. They all have artificial fibres which are oversown with grass seed to create that perfect stable sward. Unfortunately the plastic rubbish with rubber pellets it's a far, far cry from that!
Last nights pitch reminded me of a greengrocers table tbh ;D
