Don’t club officials get involved normally or does that not happen anymore?

AFC Dunstable beat Wantage 7-0 last night - they've won 5 out of 6 and sit top.

Wantage have lost two in a row 7-0, and have lost all their league games so far.

We're 5th on 12points, 3 points behind AFC Dunstable.

Very early days, I know.

I don’t think that we’ve ever had a match played with a lino missing before.
What was discussed during the hold-up?
Was it at risk of being called off?
Is there a chance that Barton could appeal the result?

I'm guessing that Barton agreed to play on. Not sure if the league will have anything to say about it. Hope not.
Great win after Saturday anyway. Well done lads!

PS if Barton were in full agreement when already 3-1 down then full credit to them. A more cynical club may have pushed for an abandonment. Look forward to hearing more details.
