Since going down to 10 we haven't done much. It is not as though Corby are running rings round us but they are managing to keep us generally at arm's length.

I think we’ve done there - but we have to win at home

Another game we shouldn’t have lost. Dominated the first half, conceded a goal against the run of play, but did well to recover and go in level at half time.

The game turned on one incident. Rob Evans with an absolute meltdown, booting one of their players on the ground. Cost us the game. Corby were the second best team but easily controlled things from this point.

We can be the best team in the league “on our day” but unfortunately if we give up three points against a promotion rival like this, then we won’t be in with a sniff at the end of the season.

We do seem to be giving away a soft goal most games. If we're playing a lesser light we will easily outscore them, but in tight games against tough opposition we may not get many chances. And to try and do it with 10 men, well the less said about that sending off the better. Very stupid. We will learn from it but we certainly can't afford too many results like this if we want to be challenging.

Another great attendance today of 608. We need a few positive home results to keep this figure up. Other attendances in our league today:
6 games below 100
A 7th at 106
Didcot managed over 200!
North Leigh not announced
HTFC 608
We're already becoming everybody's cup final.

I think even at this early stage the best we can hope for is to make the play offs. Peterborough Sports won the league last season only losing 3 games, and Bromsgrove only lost 5

Very early days right now. I wouldn't rule out anything.

But simply put, we must cut out the sloppy goals we're conceding. It's becoming a regularity, and you won't get promotion if we continue to do so.

Gobsmacked it's taken till today to mention...... Piearce9 excused...... The discipline will cost us heavily, if it hasn't already, if it's not sorted out. We're good enough footballing wise based on 5 league games. I'm not just talking about the red cards either. Yellows and general mouth!

Tough game today against a side who I feel will be up there with us come end of the season. Was pretty even first half. Though they started better and scored then after that we were better and got back in the game but personally felt they had the upper hand on us.

Then the silly sending off cost us the game. As has been said was wreckless and needless.Fair play to Rob Evans to come out on Twitter and acknowledge his error. Seemed out of character for him. Yes it cost us the game but its still early days in the season.

Felt after the sending off though despite them scoring the second goal and winner we were the better side but lacked killer edge to get a result. Still remaining positive though as we played well in all.

Very honest assessment though from the interview with the gaffer. There’s still time to make up as we’re playing well but we need to show more in the final third and it’s frustrating we’ve lost two games at home but with another fantastic crowd of 603 behind us there’s still confidence in us it’ll come!
