I know, with respect to them, it's 'only' Cradley Town, but I am yet again left feeling impressed with what I've seen today.
We took our goals very well, and looked very clinical in front of goal. There was a real purpose, direction and structure to our play. There was no rushed and panicy hoofball, all our football was played on the floor.
I thought Rob Evans was excellent, and looked a real threat off set pieces, and Montel looked a real menace whenever we attacked. Those two were the stand outs for me. But I'm still trying to recognise the majority of our players!
I know it's only pre-season, and you have to take a step back and appreciate nothing means much at this stage, but I'm genuinely impressed and excited about where we are going. There is a real plan on and off the pitch, and everything just looks really organised.
It's a strange, but good feeling!

One for Charles here, but I make today as the first time we've won 6-0 since Stourport Swifts friendly in 2014?
That was a red hot day.

Reports from both games show a club that intends to 'smash' this season!
I was at Cradley and found it hard to believe the quality of football that we played! What a change it makes to see the ball played on the green stuff.
Total togetherness and a management team that has drive and ambition.
And then there are us fans - full of hope and eagerness for the start of the season proper.
It's been a long time coming - let's do it!
