Re: Poole Town
Evans saves a penalty and the rebound - so still 0-0.
McGrath was to blame.

Re: Poole Town
Half time Halesowen Town 0 Poole Town 0, just about right though they've obviously had the better of the chances

Disjointed jottings from HH -
There's no saying we won't crumble second half but we've battled well so far, though i'm guessing that won't please all the Brazilian fans on the forum we appear to have.
The wind is affecting play.
Not mine i must add.
Lilia thinks it's shit! :-)

Re: Poole Town
I actually thought it was a bit better than of late. No costly errors, though Mcgrath was lucky, battled well and created chances. Deserved the point.

Re: Poole Town
It was hard to watch at times today but a point is a point in poor conditions. Evans made 2 fantastic saves (the penalty and the one in the second half where he went backwards and left to tip the ball over) and was the stand out for MOM.
Good to see a bit of fight out there but I still worry about the midfield 3 and they way they play, for spells today the ball was given away very cheaply and we put ourselves under pressure. Also thought we missed Nav and his link play this afternoon.
How big was Poole's skipper, looked like he should have been in the second row down at Old Hales!

Polished performance Yeltz Doc,Child in one hand mobile in the other, reminds
me of myself at my peak, pint in one hand pen and betting slip in the other.
Lilia's assessment of the game was accurate with the notable exceptions
of Paul Evans,Chilton and Caines we were brainless the Pirates should have
plundered the booty.
