As I said after Saturday, I wasn't expecting a string of wins, but I wasn't expecting normal service to be resumed so wretchedly and so quickly.

There is a lot of talk on here about losing to 'poor' teams, but so far this season, we don't have to look further than ourselves for a definition of poorness. We have thrown in so many similar performances under both management teams, that relegation seems quite likely, unless things change soon...something else we keep repeating.

Very, very poor. I cannot see how 1 change from Saturday can produce such a different performance. Fitzpatrick, best player on the park Saturday is moved into midfield to allow Jones to have a stinker in his place. At times certain players seemed to give up and that is unforgivable. Loanees should still in my mind be emergency stopgaps only and not be an integral part of our plan. They are never going to care as much as a full time player. We need a settled side of OUR players and we desperately need a goalscorer, the hardest thing of all to find. Not sure how to feel now, really thought Saturday might have been a turning point. :-\
I can only echo that sentiment. Most the players (not all) simply gave up at 2-0 down. That is simply not acceptable. There was no pride or belief in that second half performance.

Tactics wise, we seemed so lop sided towards our right hand side and seemingly neglected our left hand side. Who was supposed to be playing wide left? Anyone? Whoever it was, was severely out of position. We were completely dominated in midfield. Which is surprising given we seem to have an endless supply of midfielders. We lack a focal point up front. Hughes is trying but he isn't performing well at the moment.

But for Platty, we could've lost by 6 or 7 today. I think those who were in attendance would agree with that.

I cannot believe the difference in performance between Saturday's excellent win against Banbury and today's awful result against a very average Redditch side who aren't in any great form.

It's clear we need a settled side, they played today like they are - 11 strangers.

This is a massive rebuild job. We all know that. I think we need to think about the possibility it will be a rebuild job from the division below, unless something drastically changes or we see more of the performance against Banbury rather than what we saw today.

We deserved to lose by playing a no.10 at centre back, there are more important things to be worrying about than who keeps what number shirt

I did say that to him, but who do we blame for the rest of the season?

Good shout. Although today was only 3-0, so it was 3 goals better than the 8-2. So maybe next game he attends we'll win?
