Not a great game by any means but a very disappointing performance from us against an average Tamworth side who I felt were there for the taking today.

Not going to be too over critical of the new management as it’s only 3 games in but felt we would have taken more than just the 1 point from the three games.

It’s definitely going to take time but it’s fair to say our main objective this season is going to be avoiding relegation now.

How were your mates yesterday Brother Avery? Did they bring many?
They certainly used to, and were vocal to say the least...

I have a fond memory of an end of season game vs Nuneaton with both sets of fans in The Shed, singing, “Sit down if you hate Tamworth” followed inevitably by 100 grown ups sitting on the floor. Precious times...

Is this meant to be some sort of limerick, Lutters? ;)
There were two men- Rob and Larry,
Who took on a job cautionary,
But it’s much better still,
Than our friends Clarke and Hill,
Who’d buy players from “Cash and Carry”
Excellent! 👍

See previous post of 'not many troglodytes'. ;D
Nothing like it used to be, I'm too old to 'enjoy' it anyway now. ::) They grumbled a few lines of 'no one likes us' a few times but there was little to dislike tbh. Probably for the best, maybe they've discovered the 21st century!

That’s the problem, you see. You get one and then you get a taste for it.

I see George in my dreams at night now (which makes a change from Ben Haseley I guess).
