Im not sure Id agree we were completely outplayed for the whole match but nonetheless, very entertaining. Im glad we beat them because their support was horrible. You could sense it would turn nasty. Good riddance

I'm genuinely sorry you missed the last 5 minutes but honestly it was pure theatre. Made the whole afternoon worthwhile.

That, quite simply, is why you watch football and why you support your team. It was tough watching for most of the game and when they got the penalty at 1-2 it looked dead and buried. But the save gave us the lifeline, and the last five minutes could not have been scripted any better. The equaliser, the pressure, and then the winner- OMG- what a beauty from Jack Kelly. Incredible.
He's so good attacking wise. We need to utilise him much more offensively then we do at the moment.

The worst possible start, losing your keeper to injury in the warm up and then conceding in the opening couple of minutes we might have folded. We didn't fold but they in fairness where by far the best side with the late call up Hill in goal making a few very decent saves. Second half, not much better, creating little and after Asa gave away the penalty 1-3 to the visitors wouldn't have been unjust but the keeper guessed the right way to make a great save. The game appeared to be fizzling out before we got the penalty to make it 2-2 and a trip to Merseyside looking likely on Tuesday evening. Then a great run down the left from Tobias a composed pull back and boom... an outstanding strike by Jack Kelly to win the game we so didn't deserve.

Massive respect to our young keeper, called up late, made the match winning saves and won the club the prize money today. Well done lad.

A thought to a couple of young kids about 14 years old who were Prescot Cables fans who were in tears at the end and were apologising for the behaviour of some of their morons who felt it was still 1975. You're a credit to your club kids. Whilst some of their following may have been vocally supportive of their team at times - songs about political allegiance have no place in non league football. "You're just a town full of Tories" they chanted to us. Utter, utter wankers I'm afraid and completely embarrassing to your club. Shame you don't have the same class as the 14 year old kids who support your club with dignity and respect.

Re; the Prescott statement , I love the wording of "ALLEGED INSTANCES", when it was blatant, and evident for all to see including all the travelling spectators.

Hopefully we have full video evidence also.
Hopefully they get massively fined by the FA.
Hope we get our damaged fencing paid for.
Hope the guy (who was he?) in the long coat who was being attacked badly is ok.
Hope we never play them again.
Arseholes.
