It must be an abysmal team that loses to us.

Great result and a fantastic strike to win the game. I was pleased with the lineup as we had various attacking options and the two new guys were very lively. That all said, the performance wasn’t particularly polished and on another day we would have lost this game. Sutton had chances and will feel aggreived (especially as they had a foul not given in the build up to our goal) not to have taken a point.

An important point of note- only Morrison and Platt initially made the effort to acknowledge the away support at the final whistle. A few players needing reminding and some had already cleared off down the tunnel. How hard is it to find 5 seconds to say thanks to your own supporters? Poor show on that front.

A vital win leaving us 7 points clear with a game in hand and a much better goal difference. Surely we can avoid the ignominy of being the only relegated team?

We'd need to be better next season, and I'm not too optimistic on that front, but there would be lots of local matches: Stourbr*dge, Redditch, Rushall, Stafford, Hednesford, Stratford, and possibly Nuneaton and Alvechurch.
