Couldve saved 90 mins and just had a penalty shoot out. Good game I thought. Lot of folk saying the result didnt really matter. I dunno. Any cups gotta be worth a crack at.

But im not losing sleep anyhoo.

Always tends to be a bit of a dead rubber of a game playing on a cold, wet Tuesday night. The attendance of 145 speaks volumes of that.

The game wasn't overly terrible as a spectacle, have seen much worse but you could tell from the intensity of the players they weren't going gung ho and running the risk of injury.

Another game to mark off the list, a good laugh with some cracking mates and some good beer were the positives tonight.

Also, first time I have experienced a penalty shoot out down the Grove, shame it didn't end the way we would have liked but highly doubtful any of us will be losing any sleep over it.

One of those where we have competed in a mandatory competition, take it for what it's worth and move on.......
