One player who never gets a mention is Kennedy, an absolute colossus today. For me an 8/10 player at least every game.
PS
You know you must be making progress when you come away from a game disappointed with a 1-0 win.

Kennedy did have a good game but needs guidance alongside him and at times lacks that final product but that will surely come with age, it will be interesting to see what happens as my two midfielders would be birley and Kennedy, with denney on the bench. I think it has to be that personal, at the moment.

I don't think anyone's disappointed with the win? Unless I've misunderstood this post?

For what it's worth I think Deny has improved massively on last season, but it's hard to argue with that. Diggie has been fantastic since he arrived and Birely has hit the ground running.

I can't see John Hill leaving our captain out, though.

Competition for places can only be positive.

Wake up Brummie, you are too busy shoving chips with gravy and steak bakes down your neck . You really must pay more attention.

indeed it is a game of opinions, and I respect yours, but the thought of a top quality player like Jay on the bench makes me shudder

Aah, yes! This people having first names as well is all too confusing for me Russell.
PS. Very much enjoyed the steak bakes from your Bro. Made my previous mince pie contribution look paltry....
