2-0 Hales. More good football in the lead up. Very pleasing.

Today seemed a much better performance than that against Ashton. The difference: the ball was mostly on the deck and not hoofed up to the opposition.

Apart from after the Daniels substitution, where we reverted slightly back to our old ways, it seemed that the players we have can play football. Even Hales looked somewhat useful from time to time when he has the ball at his feet and didn't have to try to convince the fans he was going into tackles.

Skelmersdale looked very useful for periods, playing some wonderful football.

Could John Hill or Matty Clarke have read the forum post from the Ashton game and realized something needed to change?

Also, are we missing Pearson?

Yes. Much better than last week showing signs that we are capable of some decent play at this level.

Every time I think we're getting on track we go on a losing run so let's keep it going with more home games to come.
