Well played lads. Although they were 3rd from bottom and not won a home game, 3 points are 3 points.

Yes indeed especially after 2 disappointing displays. They're not the strongest but they beat us easily earlier in the season.

A cracking result, especially after the last two games.

Daniels and Refell up top made a big difference as we had pace, mobility, graft and skill. Aaron Daniels was excellent considering the lack of football he's played especially. He could have given us the lead as early as the 2nd minute but he tried to smash his shot from a terrific through ball (from Denny I think it was) rather than place it. By half time we probably deserved to be a goal up with us having the majority of the possession, and territorial advantage but it wasn't to be.

The goal we did get was a cracker by Bragoli (You'll love it on Yeltz TV) with a great strike in the top corner. They equalised with a neat header from a deep cross, but luckily substitute JMG was in the right place to get the winner for us after a mini goal mouth scramble. They pushed hard at the end for an equaliser, and were a little unlucky not to get one with some wayward shooting letting them down but we held firm and felt we were well deserving of the 3pts.

New lad Bradley Lewis looked absolute quality, didn't miss a thing defensively, and his touch on the ball and passing was good. All in all, considering we've lost three players this week we still had a decent looking bench with (I'm told) a striker hopefully joining us by the end of the week. Hopefully we'll see Westwood back soon and fingers crossed Joe Hull's injury isn't too bad.
