Bridge fm say 'halesowen had a bad day at the office. Score was a fair reflection of the game. This is already a regularly stated assessment

My first away game for 16 months and there were plenty of positives:1, caught up with good mates, 2 daughter drove so I could have a beer, 3 daughter got in as a kid , beer was ok, 5 gave me a reminder (if one were needed) why I prefer spending most of my time around things with 2 wheels.

Absolute rubbish. Couldn't even manage a shot in anger.

i'm trying hard to give these players the chance but too many aren't up to this level of football. Better quality required. Kettle coasted through the game and Forde ran the midfield. Both would walk into our team.

Thanks to the one player- Denny- who recognised the support today. We've really lost that connection between players and fans, almost non-existent today.

I can't say it's anything to do with tactics, it's the quality of players. We never troubled the keeper or their defence. Ball retention was very low and movement was poor. Maybe Saturday was a blip.

We've lost Green, Tilt, Tonks, Christie, Haseley, Forde amongst others and so far none of the replacements have been an upgrade. Even allowing for players bedding in and gelling and any tactical changes I'd be very sceptical that this group will be able to step up.

Not the first time this season, only Denny, Bragoli, Hull and Sarge have acknowledged the support in our defeats.

I just don't recognise this squad. They're awful. Only Cooper, Denny, the two GK's and Connor are worth speaking too.

I spoke to Forde after the game. He confirmed some long time suspicions. Interesting chat.
